First time using Serenity, normally McDowell funeral home. Serenity was not professional and did not appear to know much about burial at a National cemetery. Gave false info regarding family members being able to attend and was told would have to watch from a distance. That was false. After very descriptive information provided of size of spray wanted, showed up to viewing and was a small spray. At burial site, he sat in car and did not address the immediate family and no scripture, prayer… nothing. No suit jackets on at service. Tried to tell the family who should be planning the funeral although he was told by daughter who to listen to. He had no right to try to change that decision. Serenity didn’t make planning easy on the family at all. It ran so much smoother at McDowell. You live and you learn… go with what you know. Sitting in car at burial the entire time And leaving the casket spray at the church after the service put the icing on the cake. NEVER saw that before, had to call Adrain and ask why left spray.. blamed on having to call the cemetery…I was thinking why??. It goes under ground!! Lots to learn. What funeral home doesn’t have a general idea of how long b

I was hesitant to use Serenity after reading some of the reviews but I am glad that I chose them for my mom’s final arrangements but after the first call to obtain information I knew Serenity was the right choice. Adrian and another gentleman arrived to pick her up, as she had passed at home, Adrian offered to pray with my sister, my son and me. I liked that he asked as not everyone would have wanted to pray. My son is neurodivergent, I called him in to have a moment with his Gamma. Adrian and the gentleman walked out and allowed him to have a private moment. They didn’t rush him at all. We did direct cremation with only Military Honors service as my mom didn’t want anything else. Adrian and his staff were very kind and helpful every step of the way. He was quick to answer/return any calls and answer any questions that I may have had. I feel like they went above and beyond for my mom. I am forever grateful, as this was the hardest thing I ever had to deal with in my life. I thank Community Healthcare of Hospice and Mary Herrera for recommending Serenity. I would recommend Serenity to any family needing to make final arrangements for their loved one. May the Lord bless you from Zion

This is the 3rd funeral I’ve had within a year but the 1st time using Serenity. I must say from past experience with funeral homes in Dallas and Fort Worth this was the best experience I’ve ever had. 1st impression my aunt called and the daughter answered and my aunt immediately got a vibe that she was sweet and just a good person. So I then called and felt the same thing after 1 conversation over the phone. They were accommodating and met with me near a location that worked for me best so I didn’t have to drive. Adrian was amazing. He listened to me and my daughter for what our idea was and he didn’t immediately talk about number even though let be honest, it’s a business and that’s important. But he listened to us and assured us they can be accommodating. He made my kids laugh and made the process not as painful as all the other funeral homes that I have worked with. Once he gave us a set price he didn’t go back and change it even after we made changes. Our obituary was perfect, they even upgraded the size to make sure it was perfect without charging extra. Adrian’s beautiful wife, was so pleasant and warm, I just absolutely love her!! The funeral, the location, everything about

Serenity is one of the best funeral homes I've ever encountered hands down. Mr Green and his family are very professional, caring and loving people. They did my grandmother's funeral in 2020 and they did My Brother's funeral this year. I am well pleased with how they handle everything so much love ❤️

My mother in law passed away on Friday, 2/24/23, we met with Adrian on Monday, 2/27/23, and the first red flag for me was, he did not pray with the family. He immediately started discussing numbers after asking when were we trying to bury "Mother." Her Sons were grieving, this was their very first experience making funeral arrangements, they were vulnerable, and Serenity Life Creations took advantage of them during the most difficult time of their lives. They were speechless, so Adrian stated, "Ya'll don't want to leave her out too long, she's light skinned she's not dark like me, you don't want her to get darker." "What about Friday?" I said that's really soon and we prefer a weekend not a weekday. He said, "well Saturday we're booked. We can have it Friday before another funeral." I asked what time and he said 10 a.m. I told him that was too early. So he said, what about 1 p.m.? Her Son's went ahead and agreed to the date and time, under the assumption that if they left their mother out for too long, she would turn darker, since she was light skinned. As he discussed the cost for everything, I jotted down as much as I could on one of his business cards that was placed on the tabl

I love how people post negative reviews that contain lies and have no merit. I bet none of them can produce any evidence to back this up. Don't take the negative bait folks. Meet this family then decide for yourself. I'm sure Serenity has plenty of receipts so folks should be careful. I love this family I know they genuinely care about people and try to work with all families regardless of their financial situation. They have even given gifts to families free of charge like pins with their loved ones' picture on them. When I see hateful reviews with personal attacks or blatant lies being told on them it's hurtful. The Bible says if you have a problem with a person go to that person. People hide behind social media and it's pathetic. I would love to know how many of these people could produce a service that they have paid for OR were these negative folks just spectators at a funeral and were trying to disturb the grieving family and because Serenity advocated for the grieving family, the spectators are upset by that. I wonder if these negative folks leave negative reviews for every business that they believe has mistreated them. Somehow I doubt it. I believe that God sees all a

My family recently had the pleasure of experiencing this business greatness. Everyone we encountered here was professional. They are respectful and compassionate. You all did an amazing job with my mother. She was a beautiful woman in life and you all celebrated that aspect in her death. I pray that God will forever bless this business and all who comes in contact with it.
